Long-haul travel is the business travellers nemesis when it comes to arriving bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to that meeting, and as we all know a good night's sleep is critical for a productive day and for thinking on your feet. Flying business class and stretching out for a long nap en route to your destination is a great way to fight back against jet lag, but that isn't always an option for business travellers. The next best thing is trying to counteract the effects when you land. Westin Hotels & Resorts has an idea to help you do just that.
The company's Westin Sleep Well Menu is chock-full of ingredients that will encourage you to fall fast asleep and wake rested and ready to seize the day. The good people at SuperFoodsRx, the people behind the New York bestseller "SuperFoods Rx: Fourteen Foods That Will Change Your Life," have signed off on the menu items ensuring it is as good as it gets.
Launched last month, the menu features simple but healthy dishes that are full of amino acids and vitamins that encourage rest. Dishes include grilled wild salmon with walnut quinoa, chopped turkey salad, poached eggs on asparagus and sugar snap peas and shiitake mushrooms. There are also snacks for those that don't like eating a full meal as well as teas with herbs that are conducive to sleep.
The menu is available all day, every day at the 200 or so hotels and resorts around the world, the Westin Sleep Well Menu is part of the brand's Well-Being Movement.
