Northstar/Cvent Meetings Industry PULSE Survey (APAC) September 2025

With APAC sentiment rebounding, it's time to take the pulse of the industry. How have sourcing patterns changed? Where are planners looking? Get exclusive insights in the latest Northtar/Cvent Meetings Industry PULSE Survey.

Optimism is quickly coming back to Asia-Pacific’s events industry after the tariff shocks earlier in the year, with 7 in 10 planners and organisers reporting a brighter outlook in the latest Northstar–Cvent Meetings Industry PULSE Survey.

But the rebound isn’t without caveats: expectations for attendance growth have softened, costs remain elevated, and sentiment in some parts of the world has not caught up.

The survey reveals:

  • 70% of APAC planners say their outlook has improved in the last six months
  • 76% are looking to stage events overseas, with Singapore and Thailand topping the list in Asia
  • Supplier headaches are easing, though accommodation costs remain a sticking point
  • Sentiment is a mixed bag, with APAC standing out as a bright spot compared to North America and EMEA
  • Download the full report for exclusive data, region-by-region breakdowns, and deeper insights into how optimism – and caution – are shaping global events.
