Travelling to Thailand? Discounts await at Spice Up Your Business Agenda - an online coupon platform for MICE visitors who either attend conferences or stage exhibitions in Thailand.
Visitors can register on the site and take advantage of special privileges such as 10% hotel discounts, 50% car rental discounts, airport transfers, 50% off golf course green fees, and even 500 baht (US$14) cash coupons for use throughout the country.
It's part of Spice Up Your Business Agenda 2016, a campaign that is now in its third year, hosted by TCEB (Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau) in conjunction with various partners such as the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Thai Airways International, Thai Smile Airways and Visa International (Thailand).
The plethora of digital promotions runs until December 2016 and aims to boost Thailand's MICE-friendly environment and spending by delegates. This year's promotions specifically target MICE delegates from China with special benefits, including those from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. Domestic MICE delegates are also included in the campaign.
As part of its digital MICE campaign, TCEB also introduced an app: the 'Biz Thailand' mobile application, which pools together useful information on attractions, restaurants, hotels, flight details, MICE venues in Bangkok and other major cities. Users can download 'Biz Thailand' from both the App Store and Google Play and access promotions and activities specific to each location in real time.
