The newly expanded company has just rolled out its first joint meetings offer, allowing members from the company's three loyalty programmes to book meetings and enjoy benefits at over 500 hotels across Asia Pacific.
Members of the three programmes: Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) can book from now until Dec 31, 2016 for meetings or events at any of the portfolio's participating hotels and resorts across Asia Pacific to enjoy benefits for events that take place before 2018.
Benefits include 5% off master-billed rooms, double loyalty points (i.e. Marriott Rewards points, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards Points or Starpoints) on eligible revenue and one complimentary one-hour welcome reception.
Customers will earn loyalty points in the currency of the loyalty programmes that the hotel is part of however with the recent combination of the three programmes, the loyalty points earned can either be redeemed with the same hotel programme they were earned with, or transferred to one of the other two programmes should the customer wish to redeem points for experiences, stays or benefits from other properties.
Marriott now allows customers to link their Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and SPG accounts or to join the programmes to receive elite status match and reciprocal benefits and points transfer.
Planners can take advantage of the offer at more than 20 destinations across Asia Pacific, including Shanghai, Bangkok and Tokyo.
