Switzerland ramps up meeting initiatives with a comprehensive online planning tool. The newly launched Meeting Planner complements its existing suite of meeting and congress services, enabling swift access to over 700 venues.
Launched by Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (SCIB), the Meeting Planner offers a fast and simple way of planning your next event with easy steps to finding an ideal destination, a venue and a matching social programme. The search function for destination is accompanied by useful information and a range of viewing options such as video and web cam. Search filter options for the venue allow you to select seating capacity and seating arrangement besides location. Selecting a social programme is also made easy with search filters for number of pax, duration of programme and cost.
"SCIB realised the need for agencies to have access to easy information, ideas and pictures for a first proposal. This planning tool is free of charge and was created to support the agencies so that they are able to do their jobs quickly and effectively, which translates into generating more potential clients," said Dominique Oi, MICE manager, South East Asia, SCIB.
Oi added that feedback from planners have been positive and cited its informative materials and updated content as being well received.
