Stay longer in Hong Kong’s Shama Island North

With four previous collaborations under their belt, Hong Kong property developer Tai Hung and Onyx Hospitality have joined forces once more to open another property in the North Point area of Hong Kong.

Shama Island North will comprise a total of 121 rooms, 29 hotel rooms and 92 serviced apartments, with the latter being available in studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom configurations.

Designed with long-stay guests in mind, the serviced apartments will not only be uniquely furnished, but they will include fully-equipped kitchens. Some will have their own private balconies or terraces. Due to open in early 2017, Shama Island North will also have a fitness centre, a lounge area, a roof terrace, and a well-equipped business centre. There will also be self-service laundry facilities for long-stay guests.

In an effort to stand out from the crowd, Shama Island North will employ Shama's "no boundaries" programme, which comprises "hood-tours", lifestyle activities and networking events.

Onyx currently manages 19 serviced apartments under the Shama brand across Asia Pacific, including six in Hong Kong. They also have other serviced apartments under development in Guangzhou, Chengdu, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Beijing, and Melbourne.
