Seoul and Busan get more meeting space

Ibis in Seoul and Busan

Two Ibis hotels have opened in Seoul and Busan, bringing more meeting space to South Korea's two largest cities. Both hotels offer a strategic location for business travellers, with Ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun being located in the heart of Seoul and close to the city's convention and exhibition centres; and Ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae, which is located close to Busan Exhibition and Convention Center.

"The two openings reflect the successful partnership between AccorHotels and Ambassador Hotel Group. The Ibis brand was first introduced to South Korea 10 years ago, the dual openings of Ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun and Ibis Busan Haeundae will give corporate and leisure guests added hotel choices when they travel to the country. The brand continues to innovate constantly to offer its guests even more modernity, comfort and availability," said Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer of AccorHotels, Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia.

The Ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun features 242 contemporary guest rooms. For meetings and events, the two state-of-the-art modular function rooms offer natural lighting and can accommodate up to 70 people. The hotel is also home to two food and beverage outlets.

Located in Busan, the 237-room Ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae is a six-minute walk to Haeundae beach. The hotel offers two flexible meeting spaces that can accommodate up to 180 people in theater style and 120 guests for corporate events. The hotel also features a restaurant, a bar, spa and gym.

The launch of Ibis Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun and Ibis Ambassador Busan Haeundae brings Accor's South Korea's hotel network to 19 properties.
