One World Hotel in Petaling Jaya has recently unveiled its Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant that now features at a new location with stylish interiors and a revamped menu.
Decked in a modern Oriental palette of blue, gold, white and black, the elegant Chinoiserie setting features a collection of antique earthenware and cutleries displayed on the walls. Taking centre stage at the RM10million (US$2.45 million) restaurant is the high definition 15.1ft x 8.4ft LED screen, embedded into the lavish dining area.
Embracing the open kitchen concept, the spacious and pillar less dining space allows diners to watch the chefs whipping up Cantonese specialties, which include Tiger Garoupa Claypot Style, Traditional Peking Duck Roll in Wheat Flour Skin and Sping Onion and Fish Head Vermicelli Soup.
Diners can choose from the Executive Set Menus or the bite-sized dim sum options that are available for lunch daily.
For corporate groups and business travellers who wish to have an intimate dinner, opt for any of the six private dining rooms that complement the 380-seater main dining space.
Accented with bright and intense hues, inspired by traditional Chinese mountain paintings, the elaborate private dining rooms are also dressed in sophisticated chandelier lantern-like lampshades. The private rooms are partition-able into five rooms and seat up to 100 persons.
