Extravagant conventions and tropical meetings are on offer at the soon-to-open The St. Regis Langkawi. Set to open next month, the luxury hotel will offer a unique tropical destination for event planners. Accommodation on offer includes 85 suites and four over-water villas, all of which include the hotel's signature 24-hour butler service.
The hotel will have five dining venues, including an over-water restaurant, a spa, an athletic club and an outdoor pool. The resort's location on the Andaman Coast facilitates plenty of interesting diversions, activities and day excursions including visits to a crocodile farm, a wildlife park and an aquarium.
The St. Regis Langkawi will have six meeting spaces that will range in size from intimate venues suitable for boardroom meetings for up to 10 in a conference configuration, to The Astor Ballroom, which will be able to accommodate 300. The ballroom can also be divided up into two smaller rooms for mid-size events. Meeting areas also include a pre-function room for up to 80 guests, two VIP rooms and a breakout area that can accommodate 60. There is also an outdoor function space.
Starwood Preferred Guests can earn up to 20,000 Starpoints per event hosted at the hotel.
