The Malaysian MICE tourism market is quickly evolving in metropolitan cities such as Kuala Lumpur. To keep up with current trends in the MICE sector, the InterContinental has unveiled new guest rooms, aimed to impress and deliver a memorable stay for all delegates.

The multimillion-dollar refurbishment introduces a modern, sleek design. The transformation of 132 premier rooms and 130 deluxe rooms showcases a fresh look across 42 square metres of space with amenities such as an executive work desk and state-of-the-art equipment.

"The fresh and contemporary hotel is designed for discerning business and leisure travellers, and now reflects a modern functional design concept that fulfills today's travellers' needs, whether individuals, families or groups," Mr. Clive Murray, General Manager of InterContinental Kuala Lumpur; Area General Manager, Malaysia of InterContinental Hotels Group.

The 473-room hotel boasts a strategic location in the city and offers 34,000 square feet of meeting space including pillarless ballrooms, private function rooms equipped with interactive projectors, and a spacious foyer. Leisure facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness centre, a spa and a range of restaurants which offer international and local cuisines.

Offers for small and large meeting and event groups are now available.
