Over 80 professionals gathered for the second edition of the Macau Meeting, Incentives and Special Events Association (MISE) event series in Macau last week. The region's tourism and events industry players were able to network and hear about projects that MISE has planned for the upcoming months, namely the creation of a Macau event planner's' guide and MICE educational programmes.
During the event, MISE's Secretary Bruno Simões introduced the Association's flagship project, Macau Event Planners Guide 2016-2017 and announced the winner of the bid for the production of the guide, Conde Group. Simões said: "It is our intention to produce a comprehensive event's guide for Macau; as such we are reaching out to our members and members-to-be to take part to make it as industry representative as possible."
On the education front, Rebecca Choi, vice president of MISE announced MISE's first educational seminar, the CIS - Certified Incentive Specialist Program by Society for Incentive Travel Excellence. The programme will be held in Macau from September 13-14.
MISE is a non-profit organisation with the objective of supporting MICE professionals working in the Meetings, Incentives and Special Events, attracting international events, and promoting Macau as a MICE destination.
