Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur unveils new look

Le Meridien's Club Lounge Meeting Room

Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur gets creative with its Club Lounge, featuring a live kitchen that takes centre stage. On the 33rd floor of the hotel, the club lounge is exclusive for SPG (Starwood Preferred Guest) Platinum members and guests who book rooms inclusive of club lounge access. Business and leisure travellers alike can experience the inspiring new space from 06:30 to 22:00 daily.

The highlight of the club lounge is the open kitchen complete with live cooking station. In addition, there is a private meeting room, lounge seating area with high, low, and communal seating choices; and comfortable shower rooms. Total capacity is placed at 90 persons, with a configuration that facilitates small meeting discussions.

Each evening, the live kitchen showcases a speciality dish from one of the restaurants in the hotel, including an award-winning steakhouse, Italian restaurant, all-day dining venue, and a modern and sophisticated pub.

For the indulgence of guests, there are also wine and beer dispensers readily available for self-service. In addition, classic spirits such as gin, whiskey, vodka, and mixers are available at the beverage counter for guests who prefer their own unique concoctions.

Guests are treated to an invigorated breakfast with chefs on hand to provide personalised eggs, waffles, or noodles in soup. A signature of Le Méridien brand, coffee is available throughout the day, together with tea, hot chocolate and fruit juices, besides delectable snacks such as croissants and fresh fruits.

Three modern, kirigami-like lights are suspended from the centre of the private meeting room, providing a creative and professional feel to the room which seats eight. Energy levels are kept high with bountiful natural daylight and the view of the city's skyline as a backdrop.

To complement the refurbishment of the club lounge, club guestrooms too, have been renovated. Each room features a signature Le Méridien bed, a mounted Smart Television, and a minimum of two USB chargers and universal power socket outlets. The bathrooms are fitted out with a rain shower, handheld showerhead, and a stone sitting bench in the shower area; vanity counter hand basin, and a separate toilet with a built-in bidet.
