Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, located five minutes away from Shinjuku Station, will start renovation of its 111 suite and club rooms and construction of its new Club Lounge, to offer guests a more enjoyable experience at the hotel.
The refurbishment, said to cost a total of JPY 2.5 billion (US$23.5 million), is set to complete in December this year, and comes as part of the hotel's objective to constantly improve customer experiences with annual upgrades.
The soon-to-open 535-sqm Club Lounge, located on the 45th floor of the main tower building, will offer a dedicated check-in and check-out for club guests, along with breakfast, light refreshments, cocktails and beverages. Rooms that are part of the upgrade will offer panoramic views of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
Last September, the hotel renovated the entire 47th floor banquet rooms, adding special facility adaptations to accommodate MICE.
The hotel also offers large event venues such as the 450-seater Eminence Hall in South Tower 5F with three stages, a six-metre-tall ceiling, built-in trumpet balconies on both sides of the room, as well as six-language silmultaneous interpretation and broadcast equipment.
