Following the topping out ceremony which was held last October, The Parisian Macao has finally flipped on the lights to the half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower that sits front and centre of the new resort. The light show was debuted to a select number of guests, giving a preview of what is to come when the resort opens in the third quarter of this year.

"As Macao moves toward diversifying its tourism industry, The Parisian Macao and its iconic Eiffel Tower will provide visitors with a new variety of non-gaming and family-friendly attractions," says Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd. "And as Macao continues its development as a world centre of tourism and leisure, Sands China is pleased to contribute to that development with our integrated resort city on Cotai."

Among the non-gaming attractions are the MICE facilities with over 5,000 square meters of space, featuring a grand ballroom, five meeting rooms, two boardrooms, a well-equipped business centre and outdoor function spaces including a pool deck at nearly 500 square metres.

Located on the Cotai Strip, The Parisian Macao offers approximately 3,000 guest rooms and suites along with a spa, health club, a 1,200-seat theatre and a 300,000-square-foot retail mall. The hotel is scheduled to open mid-September.
