Following a one-year refurbishment the former Grand Mercure Shanghai Central has reopened as Pullman Shanghai Jing An.
Located within the central business district, just a three-minute walk from the railway station and main metro lines, the cosmopolitan 288-key hotel caters to corporate travellers with its convenient location.
Rooms are furnished with a flat screen TV, modern bathroom amenities and luxurious bedding to ensure a good night's rest, while on-site dining options, which include an international buffet and ala-carte restaurant Venu and an authentic Shanghainese restaurant, allow busy executives to fill up their stomachs without having to step out.
For private meetings, business travellers can utilise the executive club lounge located on the 27th floor, and relax at the Fit Lounge, which features a gym, a 20m-lap pool, yoga studio as well as a spa that will open in 2017.
The hotel also offers two ballrooms and five meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 350 guests for meetings and banquets.
In line with the launch, Chinese painter Qin Ming has created a series of artwork titled "The Great Spiritual Pullman", which is inspired by Chinese style flower pots and vases. The exhibition will be displayed at the hotel lobby until February next year.
