Hilton has announced a further expansion of its Vietnamese portfolio, signing a management agreement with Hai An Investment Investment Trading and Import Export Joint Stock Company (Hai An JSC Vietnam) to open a Hilton Garden Inn in Danang, the major economic and tourist hub of central Vietnam.
Scheduled to open in 2019, Hilton Garden Inn Danang marks Hilton's second property in Danang, joining Hilton Danang, which is slated to open in March 2018. The signing also adds to the hotel group's 12 hotels now operating or under development across the country.
The 234-room Hilton Garden Inn Danang will be located in the Son Tra district, a short drive away from the Son Tra Peninsula, a natural preservation area, and a 50-metre walk to the beachfront.
For corporate guests, the downtown city centre is easily accessible via car. The hotel offers more than 422 square-meters of event space, and will be equipped with six dining and bar outlets, a pool, and fitness facilities.
Danang is growing increasingly attractive as both a leisure and business tourist destination, standing as a major seaport in the country and with three UNESCO World Heritage Sites located within close proximity of the city.
The city has experienced significant economic growth in recent years and the opening of a new international airport terminal in May this year will help to meet burgeoning visitor arrivals.
As part of the Hilton portfolio, Hilton Garden Inn Danang will participate in Hilton Honors, a guest-loyalty programme across Hilton's 14 hotel brands. Hilton Honors Members will receive exclusive member rates, along with Honors Points, free standard Wi-Fi, digital check-in and no booking fees for direct bookings with Hilton.
