Hangzhou has long been popular among tourists for its idyllic scenery, but the city is now gaining traction in the MICE industry as a result of the recent attention it has received following the G20 Summit. And to help facilitate this growth, Business Events Hangzhou has introduced a new logo and tagline in an aim to continue to promote the city as a destination for meetings, travel incentives, conventions and exhibitions.
Hangzhou is now China's first city with an official MICE destination brand and with the new tagline, "Hangzhou, Inspiring New Connections", the city hopes to become a leading MICE destination globally.
Cultural attractions are firmly rooted in the city and allow delegates plenty of offerings for exploring the leisure offerings in the city. Hangzhou has also seen growth in the venue and hotel sector and now more than 200 domestic and international air routes link Hangzhou to Asia and the rest of the world.
The city has also commenced a series of global promotion campaigns based on the new tagline "Hangzhou, Inspiring New Connections" with a soon-to-launch offline event which will invite buyers around the world to experience Hangzhou's MICE facilities.
