Meeting planners who take their business to Macau certainly aren't pressed for dining options in the city. However, as dietary restrictions and preferences vary between delegates, organising a business lunch can be stressful.
The Grand Hyatt has just unveiled a new dining concept at international restaurant mezza9 that may help alleviate the problem of finding a restaurant that caters to all diners.
At mezza9's new buffet, dishes are prepared a la mode, according to guests' preferences. Choosing from a variety of fresh ingredients, diners can present the selected items to the chefs who will prepare them however they choose - be it traditional Chinese or authentic Macanese.
A variety of different cooking stations offer everything from Thai and Portuguese to regional Chinese, desserts and more.
Private dining options include two VIP rooms and a wine cellar that seat 12. There is also an outdoor terrace that affords nice views of the pool and surrounding Cotai Strip.
The dinner buffet is offered from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. daily. From US$62 (MOP 499) per person from Monday to Thursday, and USD$75 (MOP 599) per person from Friday to Sunday, excluding 10% service charge.
