Sabre's newly redesigned travel management solution, GetThere, now delivers a more streamlined user experience, along with a simplified way to book and manage travel on the go.
"Today's business traveler wants the convenience of self-service solutions. Our new traveler-centric design in GetThere puts the user first with new mobile capabilities and relevant content that's essential for a smarter travel program," said Wade Jones, interim president of Sabre Travel Network.
Better access to airline branded fares and improved shopping for air, hotel and car options provides business travellers the opportunity to make smarter in-policy booking decisions and gives them more self-service options. GetThere aims to deliver an optimal search, shop and book experience on mobile devices and desktops.
"Travel managers and travelers will also have access to more content and the ability to differentiate various fare offerings from airlines including branded fares - helping business travelers get the exact services and features that they need to be productive," Jones added.
New GetThere features include a simplified and responsive design; an intuitive booking workflow which is accessible on any device; and Sabre's air merchandising capabilities to support airlines' branded fares with existing travel policy. These enhanced features can increase adoption, in-compliance online bookings and reduce travel costs for corporations.
Industrial chic in Melbourne
Affordable style lands in the heart of the city's Docklands area
The 273-room Four Points by Sheraton Melbourne Docklands opened its doors in the nearly 4,000 square metre urban development project Marina Tower complex last month. The hotel boasts a modern and clean decor, with contemporary furnishings and an understated colour scheme.
The new Four Points offers nearly 600 square metres of meeting and event space which is spread out over five rooms, the largest which can host around 200 attendees for a reception setup. Intimate gatherings can also be hosted outside on the outdoor decking area, which is ideal for cocktail events.
Dining options at the hotel include a pub and all-day dining restaurant. Additional amenities include a 25-metre outdoor heated swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness centre with a spa and steam room.
Located just two kilometres west of Melbourne's Central Business District, the hotel is within easy reach of Melbourne's iconic attractions with the Tullamarine Airport just 20 kilometres away.
