Starwood Hotels & Resorts debuted its Four Points brand in Singapore on Friday with the opening of Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview.
The property, formerly Riverview Hotel, underwent an 18-month, $25 million refurbishment to the lobby, public spaces and 476 guest rooms.
"The opening of (the hotel) is set to meet the increasing demands for mid-market accommodations in Singapore, with all the essentials done right," said Shirley Wong, general manager. "We look forward to welcoming our guests to experience our genuine service, in this great location."
Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview, situated conveniently in the bustling Robertson Quay enclave near Orchard Road and Clarke Quay, features 476 guest rooms, each with complimentary wi-fi, e-newspaper and bottled water to cater to business and leisure travellers alike.
There are two 24-hour fitness centres, an all-day dining restaurant, as well as a signature Best Brews programme at the casual lobby bar.
The hotel boasts 1,109-sqm of event space that spans across a 388-sqm ballroom able to accommodate 320 people banquet-style, as well as seven meeting and function rooms, three of which - Elgin I, Elgin II and Robertson Room - provide a refereshing ambience with natural daylight.
For its opening, the hotel is offering several promotions to meeting planners:
1) Corporate party package
For every confirmed booking for 50 persons, the next 10 will dine and party for free.
From $68++ per person (for buffet menu).
2) Meeting packages
Half-day meeting: From $58++ per person. Rate includes one coffee/tea break and lunch.
Full-day meeting: $68++ per person for a residential meeting and $78++ for a non-residential meeting. Rates include two coffee/tea breaks, lunch, and one pine of local beer or one glass of house pour wine per person.
Applicable for a minimum of 10 persons. Valid for meetings to be held from June-December 2016.
