Bangkok's famed Sukhumvit Soi 11 welcomes the revamped W XYZ, located atop Aloft Sukhumvit Soi 11 hotel.
Aloft has turned W XYZ into a 'sophisticated craft cocktail bar' in line with Bangkok's recent craft beer trend and a focus on local art and sustainability, becoming no longer just a hotel bar but an offering that can compete with others on Bangkok's most famed bar lane and party street.
The new look includes artworks by local artists and an upbeat ambience with live music. The drinks menu has also been revamped to focus on craft beer and craft cocktails, the latter being something previously unheard of on the bar scene in Bangkok.
Taking Bangkok's huge craft beer trend one step further, W XYZ primes a new trend in Bangkok with "craft cocktails" that reflect "Thainess" such as Thai Long Iced Tea, Fiery Mangitini and Spicy Kaffir Lime Bubbles in which all components are locally sourced, with syrups and flavourings being made from fresh local ingredients and crafted into the cocktails right at the bar.
W XYZ's colourful atmosphere is also suited for intimate gatherings and stylish private events, reflecting the signature Aloft vibe in its vibrant meeting spaces. The bar can host 80-100 guests cocktail or buffet style and 60-70 guests with a banquet table set-up.
