Five months after its grand opening in November 2015, Alila Solo hotel Java is stepping up its MICE scheme. The hotel currently boasts the city's largest ballroom and highest rooftop bar as well as a new executive, rooftop-level lounge launched in January 2016 that overlooks dramatic 360-degree views of Central Java's valleys and volcanoes while providing full business-centre facilities. With 255 rooms and suites, all with city views, and 14 flexible meeting spaces - its two ballrooms combine to create a 3,500-occupancy Grand Ballroom that totals 2,100 sqm - Alila Solo claims the title of Java's "first luxury hotel of an international standard," whilst embracing environmentally sustainable design (ESD) principles such as the use of recycled materials, local plants from Central Java and water conservation with soaks and rain gardens.
The hotel has three meeting packages - Half Day, Full Day and Full Board - which include room use, coffee break(s), buffet lunch and/or dinner, the use of projectors and a 2x3m screen, starting from S$42 nett (US$30) per person.
Room rates start from S$108 nett (US$77) per night based on two people sharing.
Alila Sola is a 15-minute drive from Adi Sumarmo International Airport, and situated close to the city's main attractions.
