Rosewood heads to the quaint coastal Vietnamese town of Hoi An as part of a rapid expansion plan across Asia.
A designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hoi An offers delectable cuisine and stunning cultural gems along with picturesque rice paddy fields and pristine beaches, the latter of which is where Rosewood's latest Asian property will be positioned.
Upscale events will be right at home at Rosewood Hoi An's free-standing, residential-style event space, The Pavilion when the 70-room resort opens its doors in 2019. The space will include a function room and an outdoor lawn connected to event spaces with unobstructed sea views.
When guests are ready to explore the environs of the resort, they will find a 2,000-square-metre wellness facility with a total of 14 treatment rooms, both single and double; a wellness lounge; an active zone with fitness facilities and a yoga pavilion; and a relaxation area connected to indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy amenities. Dining options will comprise a specialty restaurant, a poolside restaurant and bar, and a bistro.
Rosewood Hoi An is the 11th proposed project in Asia following Phuket, Sanya, Phnom Penh and Luang Prabang which are all set to open 2017; Guangzhou and Hong Kong which are set to open next year; Siem Reap, Bali and Bangkok to open in 2019; and Jakarta which is set to open in 2020.
