Following a year-long renovation, the Hilton Brisbane unveiled its newly-renovated event and conference space last week. The newly designed spaces, meant to capture elements of the original design and vision of the hotel, feature updated light and a/v technology along with better acoustics.
The $4 million renovation was part of the hotel's five-year plan to create an upgrade "oasis of style" in the middle of Brisbane's inner-city bustle. The 319-room hotel also invested $700,000 to rejuvenate its pool terrace and Victoria's Meeting room last year.
"As Hilton Brisbane celebrates 30 years of hospitality, our location in the heart of the CBD, and accessibility to transport combined with the continued renewal of the hotel ensures this iconic property remains the city's premium conference and event hotel, and is as relevant today as it was in 1986," said Chris Partridge, general manager, Hilton Brisbane.
The total area of function space covers 2,500 square metres and is divided across 19 rooms with the ability to host up to 1,000 guests.
