The Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA) has appointed Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk as its new president for the 2025–2026 term, succeeding Sumate Sudasna, who concludes a historic tenure of eight consecutive terms.
Prachoom currently serves as vice president – operations and government & business relations at Dusit International. In her new role at TICA, she will champion sustainable growth, promote cross-generational collaboration, and prioritise knowledge-sharing through structured mentorship initiatives.
With deep expertise in the MICE and business events sector, Prachoom is expected to lead TICA with a clear, inclusive vision. Her presidency aims to empower the next generation of industry professionals by fostering active member participation, open dialogue, and a culture of mutual support.

Photo Credit: TICAIn recognition of his exceptional contributions to TICA and the industry at large, Sumate Sudasna has been appointed president emeritus, a newly created lifetime title. Sumate, who is also the founder and managing director of CDM Thailand, has been instrumental in advancing Thailand’s position as a global MICE destination. In his new honorary role, he will continue to provide strategic guidance and may represent the association at key industry events.
