Mention CDM (Conference and Destination Management) and the name Sumate Sudasna comes to mind. As the longstanding president of Thailand Incentive and Convention Association (TICA), Sumate has dedicated himself to serving CDM’s clientele since its founding in 1988.
Under his leadership, alongside a team of experienced Thai event
professionals, CDM continues to offer exceptional programmes showcasing
the best of Thailand for incentive travel planners, meeting-related
events, and special interest groups of all sizes, ranging from intimate
C-suite groups to international congresses of 4,000 members from various
continents.

to achieve their goals with indigenous elements, creating unique
experiences,” Sudasna explained.
“Changes in the industry may happen, but the principles of business
events are the same… Technology developments are tools to complete
tasks, and oftentimes end-users turn to DMCs because they are
resourceful and neutral, and can be trusted partners.”
CDM is a member of Euromic, the World PCO Alliance, and SITE.
