Hyatt Hotels Corporation has launched the Wellbeing Collective Advisory Board, a panel of industry-leading experts dedicated to enhancing Hyatt’s holistic wellbeing offerings, with an initial focus on redefining meetings and events.

With guests increasingly seeking experiences that “enhance their mental, emotional and physical wellbeing”, the new Advisory Board seeks to unite leading voices across various industries to help Hyatt “innovate around the way people gather and elevate the travel journey through intentional wellbeing offerings”, says TJ Abrams, vice president global wellbeing, Hyatt.

Hyatt’s Wellbeing Collective Advisory Board comprises seven advisory board members, including doctor and author Deepak Chopra; Emmy-nominated poet and mental health advocate IN-Q; Peloton instructor Ally Love; aging expert and founder of Super Age David Stewart; Dr. John Scott, head of learning, design and strategy at MasterClass; Dr. Alfiee Breland-Noble, a mental health expert and collaborator with Hyatt’s wellness-focused Miraval Resorts & Spas; and Juliet Funt, author of A Minute to Think, Fortune 500 advisor and creator of Hyatt’s Mindful Meetings Guide.

A more intentional approach to meetings and events

In alignment with its Together by Hyatt philosophy, the brand is integrating wellbeing-focused elements into its meetings and events framework at select hotels, offering planners a range of tools, technology, and mindfulness-driven experiences.

This approach includes distinctive wellbeing experiences at Hyatt hotels around the world to help customise meetings and events, immersive culinary experiences, sleep wellness programmes and more, which properties including Andaz 5th Avenue and Grand Hyatt Nashville are already offering.

There are also guided meditation sessions and mindfulness breaks powered by Miraval Resorts & Spas, and interactive culinary experiences, including Le Petit Chef dining activations as part of the event experience at select Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency properties. Other ways include care stations providing healthy snacks, hydration, and relaxation tools.

To further support restful travel, Hyatt has partnered with Nancy H. Rothstein, The Sleep Ambassador, to roll out the Sleep at Hyatt program, offering science-backed sleep strategies to improve rest quality for guests.

Groups also have access to expanded wellbeing resources through World of Hyatt’s collaborations, including guided meditations via Headspace, expert-led courses on MasterClass integrated into event itineraries, and the ability to earn World of Hyatt points for qualifying Peloton workouts at participating properties.
