Asia-Pacific is a growing powerhouse for global direct-selling companies, with wellness and personal care industries riding the momentum of emerging markets, younger demographics and rising health consciousness.

In 2024, the region accounted for 40.3% of global direct selling sales, according to the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. With that expansion comes a growing network of businesses that rely on meaningful and prestigious rewards to drive loyalty and performance, while reinforcing brand values

Today, as planners face the growing challenge of delivering prestige without excess – where every return on premium counts – choosing the right incentive destination has become a strategic imperative.

Prestige sells, but it’s more than that

Prestige remains central to incentive psychology, with the Incentive Research Foundation’s 2025 Top Performer Study revealing “high perceived value” as the top priority for elite performers, 63% of whom indicated it was a critical reward attribute.

Moreover, the value of a prestige programme is increasingly tied to what it stands for, not just what it looks like. A regional hub for multinational direct-selling companies like Amway, Herbalife, Nu Skin, USANA and Young Living, Singapore sits naturally within this aspirational frame where reputation, access, and knowledge leadership amplify the rewarding experience of play and discovery.

It’s no wonder that leading corporates, including direct selling firms, have picked Singapore for their incentive programmes, including 2024 Nu Skin Korea Success Trip, Sun Pharma Star Club Awards 2025, Amway Japan Leadership Seminar 2025, and an upcoming delegation of 25,000, set to be Singapore's largest meeting & incentive travel event to date.

Level up play

Showing how it’s done, the 6,100-pax Sun Pharma Star Club Awards 2025 group was treated to an unforgettable programme against unique backdrops, where glitzy award galas flowed into after-dark DJ parties at Sentosa’s Southside outdoor venue; complete with nature-led attractions including Bird Paradise, Singapore Zoo and Gardens by the Bay. With the largest Indian meeting and incentive movement unfolding in six waves, delegates were comfortably put up in eight hotels including Swissôtel The Stamford Singapore, Orchard Hotel Singapore, Grand Copthorne Waterfront Singapore, JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach and Sheraton Towers Singapore.

The Amway Japan Leadership Seminar, which brought 1,450 delegates to Singapore, also rewarded high-performers with next-level fun. Delegates were treated to VIP play with a private Universal Studios Singapore buyout, followed by an exclusive takeover of Palawan Beach in Sentosa featuring Singapore’s first floating aqua park, Hydrodash, mini golf and picnic spots

Meanwhile, delegates attending the 2024 Nu Skin Korea Success Trip were treated to a dreamy dinner reception at the Gardens by the Bay’s Flower Field Hall, followed by exclusive access to the Flower Dome conservatory. Making the evening truly unforgettable was a mesmerising private light and sound show at the Supertree Grove.

Wellbeing done naturally in biophilic Singapore

Whether wellbeing is a core message of direct-selling brands or a driver of culture, there is no better place to experience elevated nature and wellness than Singapore. A long-standing model for sustainable urban design, the city is also ranked second in Asia-Pacific on the 2025 Global Destination Sustainability Index.

Singapore’s evolving attractions landscape perpetuates its unique legacy, with new products continuing to champion regenerative design, conservation and collaborative stewardship in an urban setting. These include:

•    Singapore Oceanarium: Go beyond the aquarium looking glass. Think brag-worthy group dives in aquarium waters, or another kind of immersion where multi-sensory stations and gameplay help delegates journey through coastal explorations and uncover the true cost of plastic pollution.

•    Mandai Wildlife Reserve: Whether behind-the-scenes wildlife encounters, group climbs, or cavern dining, experiences at Rainforest Wild Asia teem with opportunities to learn about biodiversity and conservation. Plus, unique tree house suites at the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree reinforce the sustainability experience through design, biodiversity corridors and low-impact luxury.

•    Gardens by the Bay: Within this global marvel, hosted experiences range from private tours of pioneering indoor nature conservatories, to spectacular skyhigh views from the OCBC Skyway, or even mega outdoor parties at The Meadow, an outdoor garden event space for up to 30,000 guests.
