Four Seasons' upcoming Bangkok address is a riverfront urban resort set to open doors next February.
BANGKOK - Four Seasons' new urban resort along the banks of Bangkok's Chao Phraya River will be among the few resorts offering riverfront views for meetings and events when it opens next February.
The 299-key urban resort property designed by Belgian designer Jean-Michel Gathy, well-known for his work on luxury properties from Aman to The St. Regis and One&Only, is a breath of fresh air with its cascading buildings, courtyards, terraces and water features on 3.6 hectares along Charoenkrung Road.
The property's meetings and events venues span some 3,800sqm, some offering sweeping views of the river such as a waterfront ballroom and outdoor terrace. Planners also have the indoor The Conservatory Ballroom that overlooks the river, as well as three function rooms and a boardroom.
The Grand Ballroom offers dramatic views of the Chao Phraya River.
The resort will offer six food and beverage establishments, with the options including tropical al fresco bar BKK Social Club inspired by Latin and Thai influences, fine Cantonese cuisine at Yu Ting Yuan with a show kitchen by Michelin-starred Chef Qui Xiaogui and tropical French dining at Brasserie Palmier.
Soak in the Latin and Thai influences at alfresco bar BKK Social Club.
Leisure amenities include a spa; two infinity pools overlooking the river; a fully-supervised complimentary kids club; and a private boat dock.
The resort will also sport a serious art collection on its walls that have been amassed by Gathy himself as well as a dedicated art showcase of works by contemporary Thai artists.
