Alma Resorts plants its flag in Cam Ranh

CAM RANH - A mega integrated resort has opened in Cam Ranh. Alma Resort, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, is on Vietnam's southwest coast. Located between Cam Ranh and Nha Trang City, it is 7.8km from Cam Ranh International Airport, about 10 minutes by car, and will offer diverse options for MICE groups under one roof.

The resort, which is privately owned and built by Paradise Bay Resort Company, is also marketed as a vacation ownership venue. Its unique features include a food court with local and international cuisine,12 swimming pools cascading down to the beach, a waterpark, a 13-treatment room spa, a cinema, a convention centre, amphitheatre, an art gallery, science museum, 18-hole mini golf course, a youth centre with virtual reality games, a kid's club, watersports centre and more.

The two hotel towers contain 400 apartment-like rooms and an additional 200 multi-bedroom villas. For guests looking for an extended stay, Alma Resort's residences, located within 200 separate villas, offers a kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, rice cooker, and either two or three bedrooms that can sleep up to nine guests. Soundproofing, private pools, and sea and mountain views come with each residence.

Its standalone Alma Convention Center caters to conventions, weddings, exhibitions, gala dinners, banquets and product launches, and includes a 300-guest ballroom that can be partitioned into three smaller rooms; seven meeting rooms; a lobby bar and reception areas, and exclusive parking and access to allow for simple and prompt arrivals and departures.

Incentive group fun options include water sports, lounging in 12 pools or on the beach, heading to the property's water park with lazy river, kids' pool, wave pool, slides, and a food truck, before ending the night with a group singalong at one of the resort's karaoke rooms.

For more entertainment, groups can opt for one of the resort's weekly culture shows and concerts at the 400-seat, 1,000 sqm Alma Amphitheater which hosts weekly live concerts and cultural shows under the stars.

The 70-seat, private Alma Cinema airs three films daily with movies for all ages from Hollywood blockbusters to rom-coms.

Le Spa offers rejuvenating treatments from different cultures and a variety of international techniques with services such as face and body aromatherapy, massages, couples' massages, body work and hair styling.

Sports-minded guests can enjoy an 18-hole mini golf course, and ball sports such as tennis, soccer, basketball, and volleyball.

Off-site activities nearby include a visit to Nha Trang Oceanography Institute, Tri Nguyen Aquarium and Thap Ba Hot Springs.

F&B eateries in the resort include Alma Garden and Main Kitchen, offering all-day dining, buffet breakfasts, and themed dinner buffet. Others include La Casa Italian Restaurant, helmed by Italian chef Francezco Canzattu; Asiana Japanese Restaurant; and Atlantis Beach Restaurant.

Alma Food Court offers western-style food with multiple fast-casual dining options: An Nam for Vietnamese, Little Italy for Italian, Burger House for American comfort food, French Bakery for French and international cuisine, Three Scoops for gelato, and an Espresso Bar. The American Bar offers a taste of the US in Vietnam with classic cocktails, bourbon.
