Hosted in Singapore last week, M&C Asia Connections 2019 gave meeting planners the chance to experience a handpicked selection of event venues, showcasing their myriad capabilities and features ranging from gastronomy, wellness and heritage.

Fresh from its multimillion-dollar makeover in April, the hotel welcomed delegates to spanking new interiors. The 656-room property sits in the heart of the upmarket Orchard shopping district, within close reach of luxury retail, fine dining and entertainment options.

Its newly-transformed Grand Ballroom features floor-to-ceiling LED lights, state-of-the-art AV capabilities and intricate Orchid-inspired chandeliers, while a redesigned Conference Centre offers five meeting rooms and upgraded meetings facilities. Bar Intermezzo, a buzzy and contemporary spot for post-event networking, treated guests to a slick evening of botanical-inspired cocktails.
