Any Concur client can now access the rich hotel content of HRS - which includes 18,000 partner hotels worldwide - directly from their own online corporate booking tool.
In a strategic expansion of the two brands' long-standing partnership, Concur Travel - the cloud-based travel and expense management tool suite - now displays optimised HRS content in the suite. Furthermore, integration with Concur TripLink enables travel managers to track, view and manage all bookings made directly on HRS. Soon, Concur will also start to implement HRS payment solutions.
"Our expanded partnership with HRS will allow us to deliver high-quality content within Concur Travel along with fully integrated direct booking via Concur TripLink, enabling greater visibility and efficiencies, improved compliance and reduced direct and indirect costs," commented Tim MacDonald, executive vice president of travel for Concur.
The two companies have worked together since 2009, striving to provide win-win solutions for their mutual customers. Now, they will also conduct joint sales activities to support customers in boosting their hotel adoption rate and provide travellers with a fully integrated booking and payment solution.
Whilst HRS corporate rates already mean up to 30 per cent discounts for clients, Tobias Ragge, CEO of HRS, has indicated that the partnership hopes to offer further savings for corporates through a more comprehensive overview of travel expenses, leading to improved control and the identification of further cost-saving potentials.
