MICE sets sail

Since it homeported in Singapore in November 2017, Genting Dream has leveraged the city's status as one of the world's top international meeting destinations. Dream Cruises also entered a three-year tripartite partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board and Changi Airport Group to promote Singapore as a key tourism destination and Asian cruise hub.

Given the company's experience in catering to diverse customer segments, planners can expect seamless support from Dream Cruises' events team to cover everything from welcome gifts to catering and cuisine.

Planners may create their ideal event at:

Seminars and conference sessions can be held in the Zodiac Theatre, which can seat up to 999 guests and offers simultaneous interpretation headsets. The theatre is also equipped with an LED wall, high-end lighting and sound systems, and even a hydraulic stage lift and 3D projection for groups looking to stage their own jaw-dropping show.

Located at the ship's fore, Palm Court's floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide an expansive view of the sea in three directions. It also features a bar for cocktail receptions and projector setup for breakout discussions, with a maximum capacity of 500 guests.

Smaller groups can convene at Silk Road: besides serving as a Chinese fine dining restaurant, the plush space can hold up to 128 guests and features a stage with LED wall for presentations and speeches. Seating here can also take a boardroom, classroom, or U-shaped configuration as needed.

Dazzle your delegates
One of Genting Dream's coolest features is its balcony lighting system: lights outside each cabin balcony collectively form a massive LED display that you can use to show a custom message, viewable from a distance on the sides of the ship.

Every Thursday night, which is also the last night for 5-night cruises, all passengers are invited onto the main pool deck to witness a first in Asia: the ship's Fireworks at Sea. After marvelling at the pyrotechnic display, groups can dance the night away at Zouk Private Party Deck or sing to their hearts' content in the karaoke rooms.

For corporate clients emphatic about work-life integration, child-friendly facilities like the Little Pandas Club means family members can easily tag along.

Relaxation is integral for busy delegates looking for some time to themselves, and the Crystal Life Spa offers both Western and Asian style spa treatments including foot reflexology - a real treat after walking around the 335m long ship all day!
