The new Feydhoo Hall adds 390sqm of events space.
Amid rising demand for destination weddings, corporate retreats and creative gatherings, resorts in the Maldives are stepping up their meetings and events offerings.
Operated by Dusit Hotels and Resorts, dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives has expanded its event portfolio with the addition of Feydhoo Hall, a 390sqm venue that accommodates up to 300 guests theatre-style, 240 for banquets, 200 for cocktail receptions, and 144 in cluster seating.
The new space complements the resort’s existing Feydhoo Finolhu Hall, a 360sqm venue launched last November, which extends onto the Veranda Terrace for indoor-outdoor functions.
Apart from the outdoor Veranda Terrace, there’s also the option to book the 1,000 sqm event lawn which serves as an open-air backdrop for sunset ceremonies, gala dinners, and large-scale celebrations. The lawn accommodates up to 400 guests for cocktail events and 350 guests for banquet-style occasions.
For smaller gatherings, the 55 sq m Ekugai Meeting Room hosts up to 30 guests in theatre or dining layout and 24 guests in cluster-round configuration.
Located seven minutes via speedboat from Velana International Airport, the premium all-inclusive accomodation offers 127 villas across seven categories, ranging from 77 to 306 sqm. Most feature open-plan interiors, decks, and private plunge pools.
Resort facilities include the Namm Spa, a multi-court sports centre, and four dining venues.
