New club features a first-in-Asia sound system, plus a combined 1,000sqm of LED wall space.
A newly opened Bangkok nightclub wants to rival venues in the world’s night entertainment capitals of Ibiza, Las Vegas and Berlin – and take on events of all types.
Fvture opened on the sixth floor of Bangkok’s Bravo mall last month, touting itself “the first Asian Hyperclub to be built on this vast scale” and “the most technologically adventurous venue in the region”.
Fvture’s main room is powered by Asia’s first L2 & L2D L-Acoustic system, boasting over 40 subwoofers and a multi-array configuration for superior sound clarity and punch.
Creating what Fvture calls a “360° visual playground”, the venue boasts a 500-sqm LED wall at the front of the space, and another 500sqm of modular LED throughout.
Besides its leading-edge production capabilities, Fvture also features VIP lounges, modular side stages and a calendar open to global touring shows, label takeovers and live performances.
Fvture arrives at a pivotal moment in Thailand’s creative economy as the government opens the doors to global events like Tomorrowland, EDC, Creamfields and Circoloco.
The venue says it fills the gap in Bangkok for a singular venue capable of hosting artists and audiences on an international scale.
In a joint statement, co-founders Victor and Michele Wang, said: "Fvture is a statement of intent. Bangkok has long deserved a venue that stands alongside the global greats and that’s exactly what we’ve built. From sound to visuals to community, we’ve designed Fvture from the ground up to really break into new frontiers and give Asia the truly mind-blowing club it’s long deserved.”
Fvture is the brainchild of a team with roots in nightlife, music and international hospitality: Victor Wang brings expertise in cross-border nightlife operations; COO Michele Wang is a seasoned operations leader driving long-term sustainability and execution; Pablo Vas, who will lead Fvture’s sound and programming, is a music director and DJ behind concepts like Down Temple and Tucan Bangkok.
