BANGKOK - Thailand's capital city of Bangkok will soon welcome a new, purpose-built indoor event space that will give planners another option to hold their MICE events.

Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2020, the Show DC Hall is located on the sixth floor of Show DC, a collection of small and medium-sized indoor spaces as well as the outdoor Show DC Arena that can cater up to 90,000 for large-scale concerts.

Show DC Hall is designed to accommodate up to 7,000 people standing, and 4,000 seated.

"SHOW DC Hall will complement our established 90,000 sqm of outdoor event space that has become the number one choice for event organisers and brands who wish for a large-scale outdoor space in the heart of the city," said Show DC's CEO Goh Soo Sing.

"We're very happy to have partnered with leading Thai entertainment and event promoter The Concert to deliver this new and exciting venue. At 7,000 sqm, Show DC Hall will be one of the largest indoor event spaces in the heart of the city and with The Concert at its helm, Show DC Hall is set to become the venue of choice for event organisers throughout Thailand and beyond."

In addition to the flexible event space, Show DC Hall will feature a range of supporting facilities including fitting rooms with restrooms for performers, a large meeting room for organisers, two large restrooms for audiences and a ticketing booth and information counter.

There is also onsite parking for up to 1,200 vehicles, and the venue can provide a crane with a load capacity of 30 tons as well as elevator access with a load capacity of 3.5 tons.
