New GM at Frasers House in Singapore

Klaus Christandl takes the helm after the hotel’s transition into Marriott’s Luxury Collection.

Klaus Christandl has been named GM of Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore, following its conversion from the former InterContinental Singapore.

Christandl joins the Marriott International hotel from JW Marriott Hotel Nara, where he was also GM. Prior to that, he helmed St. Regis properties in Bangkok and Singapore.

He holds more than 36 years of international hospitality leadership across Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe.

His journey with The Luxury Collection began in 2009, where he served as General Manager of Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket, a Luxury Collection Resort, before leading the revitalisation and repositioning of the now 152-year-old Hotel Imperial, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna.
