It’s official. Jason Tan Chin Foo named CEO of BESarawak

Tan officially takes the helm following the departure of the organisation’s long-standing chief in February.

Jason Tan Chin Foo is now the CEO of Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak).

Formerly BESarawak’s deputy CEO, Tan had first assumed the role of acting CEO following the departure of Amelia Roziman in February this year.

Announcing the appointment, BESarawak shared that Tan will helm the organisation with a vision to strengthen Sarawak's position as a globally competitive business events destination through purposeful collaboration, innovation and legacy-driven development.

Tan said: “Sarawak already built strong foundations over the years. My aspiration is to bring strengths together into a more connected and future-ready business events ecosystem.”

He has nearly two decades of experience across hospitality and business events, having held leadership roles in business development, marketing, communications and research since joining BESarawak in 2012.
