Deputy CEO Jason Tan Chin Foo (right) steps up as acting CEO after Amelia Roziman announces her move to an advisory firm.
After 20 years at BESarawak, Amelia Roziman has stepped down as CEO and announced her new role at a private advisory platform taking on global clients.
The Sarawak CVB veteran this week announced her new role as chief consultant at LegacyMade in a LinkedIn post.
LegacyMade is a “strategic advisory platform focused on helping global events and destinations create meaningful, lasting impact”, she divulged.
In her tenure at BESarawak, she was recently key to spearheading a long string of legacy and impact initiatives.
Most recently, with Roziman at the helm, BESarawak facilitated the state’s adoption of a new declaration that signals greater state ownership in business events impact, greater public-private partnerships – and a more global scope.
Roziman has been with BESarawak since its inception in 2006, and was named CEO on 1 August 2021.
With her departure from BESarawak, deputy CEO Jason Tan Chin Foo has been appointed acting CEO.
