APAC meeting planners are the most optimistic for 2025

The latest Meetings Industry PULSE Survey reveals sustained optimism among planners.

The latest Meetings Industry PULSE Survey, co-produced and sponsored by Cvent, highlights the strong performance of the meetings industry in APAC. A notable 63% of APAC planners report feeling more optimistic than they did six months ago, marking the highest optimism rate among all regions surveyed.

Key findings include:

  • Over half of APAC planners are actively booking and sourcing new events.

  • 56% expect to produce more meetings in 2025.

  • Southeast Asia remains the top destination for 85% of planners in the region.

  • Rising costs, budget constraints, and increasing airline prices are the main concerns for APAC planners.

About the Survey

The Northstar/Cvent Meetings Industry PULSE Survey was first launched in 2020 to track changes in planner sentiment and expectations throughout the pandemic. Northstar continues to survey event planners on a regular basis to assess how current challenges and trends are shaping the industry. The PULSE Survey is produced in partnership with meetings technology provider Cvent.
