Legendary Ambitions

Competition is heating up in the meetings and conventions space, now that Korea's first 'lifestyle hotel-plex' has opened its doors. Launched in October, Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan, Seoul, is giving business and convention hotels a run for their money with its all-inclusive concept that provides planners and corporate groups with plenty of options.

Kingdom of fun

A key attraction at this mega complex is the Sky Kingdom, which spans across four floors suspended between two of its towers. At the Spy & Party Room, guests can experience the shadowy world of espionage in a bar setting that combines shopping and partying. Here, planners can choose from four party rooms, each with a unique concept to match their event needs. For a taste of classic European flair, head over to King's Vacation, an elegant lounge bar that features a skywalk and DJ setup, performance stage, indoor pool and an innovative range of cuisine and beverages.

Adaptable meeting and convention spaces

When it is time to get down to business, Seoul Dragon City also provides plenty of flexibility for planners. For a start, the hotel complex features two multi-function grand ballrooms, each with a space of 1,189 sqm that can take up to 1,972 guests. Equipped with a 16m-wide bezel-less LED media wall, the venue allows separate presentations to be flashed concurrently on different screens. For smaller scale conferences, seminars and training sessions, planners can choose from the 17 available meeting rooms.

Beds for all budgets

Seoul Dragon City features four AccorHotel brands - Grand Mercure Ambassador Seoul Yongsan; Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan; Novotel Ambassador Seoul Yongsan; and ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan - that range from luxury to economy, catering to every demographic and budget.

The 202-room Grand Mercure Ambassador Seoul Yongsan is designed for families and long-stay guests who enjoy an upscale serviced residence experience, while Novotel Suites Ambassador Seoul Yongsan wins over business and leisure guests with 286 suites featuring open spaces and ergonomic designs. At Novotel Ambassador Seoul Yongsan, guests can unwind in one of its 621 well-appointed rooms featuring a modern design, while the 591-room ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan makes a statement with its colourful palette.
