Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) announced last week that the brand will be expanding its presence in Malaysia with the opening of two more resorts: PARKROYAL A'Famosa Resort, Melaka, and PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort. These follow the success of the recently renovated PARKROYAL Penang Resort.
PARKROYAL A'Famosa Resort, Melaka, which is slated for opening in 2019, will sit amid 520 hectares of natural landscape and feature thoughtfully designed rooms and suites that are ideal for today's leisure and business travellers. A range of dining options will be available in the resort as well, including a lobby lounge, an all-day dining restaurant, a Chinese specialty restaurant, a club lounge, as well as a pool cafe. For children looking for a bit of fun during their stay, there is even a water theme park and animal safari right right in the resort itself. Adults, on the other hand, can try their hands at tennis, fishing, golfing and horse riding, if they so wish.
In terms of business activities, PARKROYAL A'Famosa Resort, Melaka comes with seven meeting rooms, an outdoor garden and an open rooftop - ideal for corporate retreats, events and team-building activities. There is also a well equipped ballroom on the premises that can accommodate up to 700 people.
Meanwhile, PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort, slated for opening in 2020, is nested at a prime beachfront location on the beautiful expanse of Pantai Tengah Beach. Surrounded by restaurants, nightlife, and beach activities, the resort is a 20-minute drive from Langkawi International Airport and 18 km from the nearest town centre, Kuah Town.
PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort has 294 guest rooms, as well as unique sky dipping pools at its most premium suites. There are also seven exclusive villas and a range of facilities, such as all-day dining restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, a beach bar, and multi-tier outdoor swimming pools.
