Earlier this week, Hong Kong welcomed a new permanent resident: Hotel VIC on the Harbour, a newly built twin-tower hotel that sits at the tip of North Point - a neighbourhood filled with undiscovered food and culture.
Hotel VIC on the Harbour boasts 671 guestrooms and suites, and every room has a different view of Hong Kong's iconic harbour and skyline. In between admiring the cityscape, however, guests have access to a 24-hour gym, rooftop swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms. All rooms come with a deluxe rain shower and in-room Nespresso coffee machine.
What makes Hotel VIC on the Harbour stand out from the rest is its tailor-made smartphone app, which allows guests to access in-room services and reservations right from the palm of their hands. And no frontdesk check-ins are required at this hotel either, as guests can head straight to the key card kiosk to access their room key with a simple QR code scan following an online check-in prior to arrival.
To match the technological wizardry, Hotel VIC on the Harbour has an array of tentalising fine-dining selections as well. The Farmhouse is an all-day international dining restaurant on the second floor, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the harbour; The Farmhouse Deli offers a mouth-watering selection of freshly made pastries and cakes; the Cruise restaurant has a vast collection of cocktails and wine, as well as a specially prepared menu by talented chefs. The Cruise also happens to be North Point's only rooftop bar.
