InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced the opening of three new iconic bars at its hotels in the region - SugarSand at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak, INK 360 at InterContinental Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort and Vana Nava Sky at Holiday Inn Vana Nava Hua Hin.

Clarence Tan, Managing Director for South East Asia & Korea, IHG, said, "At IHG, we are always committed to raising the bar when it comes to delivering unforgettable guest experiences. These new offerings are no exception; one of the best ways to unwind while travelling, whether in quiet solitude or with good company, is with a masterfully crafted cocktail, complemented by great ambience and thoughtful service. With the opening of these iconic establishments in some of the region's most beautiful locations, we are excited to bring the quintessential hotel bar experience to more travellers, elevated by the unique charms of each bar."

SugarSand is a two-level beachside bar and restaurant overlooking the Indian Ocean. Taking inspiration from Japanese design fused with local Bali influences, the beachside venue resembles a jukung, traditional Indonesian fishing boat, with poolside daybeds, beach bar and terrace and open-air roof lounge.

Partake of Japanese-inspired cocktails, sake, sochu, broad selection of spirits and slow-cooked gin and tonics, conceived by Singaporean mixology maestro, Sufian Mahmoud.
There is also a regular schedule of events featuring boogie, disco and classic hit music.

Visitors to INK 360 in Vietnam's Phu Quoc will enjoy views of the sunset across the ocean as it is the highest bar on the island, located on the rooftop level of the Sky Tower.

Helmed by Italian mixologist Giuseppe Carneli, bespoke cocktails are made using the finest spirits and botanicals sourced from along the globe. Have your drink with a selection of fine caviar and fresh oysters, also available on the menu.

Set on the 27th floor, the highest level Holiday Inn Vana Nava Hua Hin, Vana Nava Sky affords guests panoramic views of the neighbouring Takiab Mountain and Tao Mountain on one side and the Gulf of Thailand on the other.

Celebrity mixologist Joseph Boroski is the brains behind the bar, which serves more than 20 specially concocted signature drinks.

If you are feeling brave after a few drinks, the glass-bottomed Vana Nava Sky Deck offers an even more thrilling view.
