At The Meetings Show Asia Pacific (TMS APAC) 2025, Hyatt Corporation is unveiling its Asia Pacific Meetings & Events Alliance, a new initiative designed to streamline how planners manage complex, multi-destination events across the region.

“This is a strategic initiative designed to simplify multi-year, multi-city event planning across the region, providing corporate planners with a streamlined and centralised approach to event management across a number of our larger Hyatt properties,” said Kate Atkinson, vice president of global sales, Hyatt Sales Force, Asia Pacific at Hyatt.

“This enables our event service teams to work together across locations, delivering on planner needs and ensuring operational efficiency for large-scale events. Planners benefit from dedicated centralised contact and support, resulting in smoother negotiation and event planning across participating properties.”

The alliance brings together nine hand-picked Hyatt properties known for their top-tier meeting and event capabilities. with the initial collection including nine premier Hyatt properties in key business and convention hubs like Bali, Bangkok, and Singapore.

Beyond convenience, the Asia Pacific Meetings & Events Alliance offers exclusive benefits for planners, including customised packages and incentives based on event size; complimentary upgrades and sustainability offerings; wellbeing experiences, such as group meditation sessions, and World of Hyatt points for planners.

Sustainability and wellness for meetings

As business travel rebounds, sustainability has emerged as a key decision-making factor for many planners. Hyatt has integrated a variety of green and wellness-focused initiatives across its Alliance properties to ensure events not only deliver business impact but also align with organisational ESG goals.

For example, Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur partners with Cultivate, an urban farm using 98% less water to grow on-site produce; Grand Hyatt Singapore features reimagined spaces and wellness programmes, including Care Stations and outdoor green zones; and Hyatt Regency Sydney uses GoTerra to turn food waste into sustainable protein, cutting emissions by up to 97%.
