ANA InterContinental Tokyo has completed a sweeping 15-month renovation, following an extensive refurbishment including the redesign of 801 guest rooms and a comprehensive update to its dining and social spaces.
One of the key highlights of the transformation is the redesigned Club InterContinental Lounge, now spanning the 35th and 36th floors. The lounge provides an elevated experience with panoramic views of Tokyo, offering an exclusive space for guests to unwind. Guest rooms have been given a fresh look, incorporating geometric patterns inspired by origami and custom carpets that pay tribute to Japan’s famous cherry blossoms.
The hotel has also introduced new suite categories, including the Mizu and Sora Suites, which blend Japanese design elements with modern comforts, offering a luxurious experience for those seeking an elevated stay. Guests booking either Club InterContinental Rooms or Suites can look forward to personalised services, bespoke breakfast options, all-day refreshments, curated cultural activities and child-friendly menus tailored to younger guests.
As part of the renovation, several of the hotel’s dining and social venues have been revamped. Cascade Café now offers a global culinary journey with interactive cooking stations, allowing guests to explore flavours from over 10 different countries. The MIXX Bar & Lounge, located on the 36th floor, has been revitalised, providing stunning views of the city alongside a chic new atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the Atrium Lounge has undergone a refresh, introducing the Genever Lobby Bar, which serves a range of gin-based cocktails, including the exclusive ‘Last Elysium’ – a signature blend of sake kasu and orange peels, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and quality. The Atrium Lounge also introduces a new 'Marketplace' concept, offering mobile ordering and a seasonal Afternoon Tea.
A check by M&C Asia with the hotel confirmed that ANA InterContinental Tokyo’s 22 meeting spaces remain unchanged and were not included in the recent revamp.
