Last week, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts revealed plans to launch its flagship Wydnham brand in Malaysia with the signing of a new landmark hotel in the Royal Town of Klang, which is 30 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur. When opened in Q3 of 2019, the 488-room hotel will become the first international upscale hotel in this city, and is expected to be a leading choice for business travellers and meeting planners alike.

This new-build hotel will become a major hub for meetings and events, with a 2,200-seat Grand Ballroom capable of hosting various events, including corporate conferences, award ceremonies and lavish weddings. There are also 11 other flexible spaces that provide options for every type of event, including business meetings, exhibitions and product launches. The onsite business centre also offers extensive professional support.

Wyndham Acmar Klang is also well connected to major transport hubs and cities. The hotel is next to three major national highways, and is 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian capital, as well as 40 minutes from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Port Klang, one of the world's busiest container ports and Kuala Lumpur's main cruise hub, is also nearby.
