Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore begins 2024 with an overhaul of its hotel programming that will place a premium on wellness experiences to complement its new MICE and F&B offerings.

The 25-year icon facing Roberston Quay has completed a S$40-million (US$29.8 million) facelift which includes newly refurbished guest rooms and meeting rooms. The venue’s 33 meeting rooms span 6,200 sqm over three floors, where all meeting rooms have LED lighting, natural sunlight, and the latest AV tech such as 2K-4K high resolution LED video walls, wireless video signal transmission, and laser projectors. The 850-sqm pillarless Grand Ballroom seats 600 pax for banquets and has two LED screens which are divisible into smaller screens and junior ballrooms.

Each guest room is equipped with an Aruba router, a smart room control thermostat linked via bamboo-card key, and an in-room water filter system. Average room rates range from S$280-$300 for the lead-in category before taxes.

As part of its rejuvenation, the riverfront luxury hotel will introduce a host of strategic partnerships that promote holistic wellbeing, beginning with a two-day, one night Yoga and Stay for Club Room guests from 24-25 February 2024.

The hotel has teamed up with Singapore’s first and biggest alcohol-free bottle shop, Free Spirit for a series of ‘terrace takeover’ activations at the soon-to-launch Riverside Terrace, an al fresco restaurant-bar which will offer a suite of alcohol-free drinks. Its first edition of the pop-up with Free Spirit will take place in tandem with the Yoga & Stay Retreat.

A new Indian restaurant, SanSara, offers fine dining cuisine from North India. Head chef, Akhilesh Pathak, has two decades of culinary experience, transcending India’s regional boundaries, from Bangalore, Goa, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune, Kashmir to Delhi.
