Delegates can expect a reimagined event when the 62nd ICCA Congress takes place from 12–15 November 2023 at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Speaking during a virtual media update, ICCA CEO Senthil Gopinath said, “This year’s Congress is extraordinary, and it is very special because we have looked at new formats… co-creation… wanting the entire ICCA community to come together. Congress will be all about networking and engaging and we want to learn from every corner of the world.”

Themed ‘It Starts With Us’, the year’s event will focus on the collective power of sharing ideas and stories, where every delegate’s voice will be instrumental in sparking collaboration to make positive changes to the industry through the programme’s education, business and networking platforms.

The congress will seek to engage delegates as first-timers where all will be connected and allocated a persona. The congress will be a safe and inclusive space and each person will own their own congress experience and be equal as a participant. Inspirational speakers will be divided into three pathways: the people who inspire us all, the people who see the future, and the people who win big.

The Sharing Hub will provide co-creation content focusing on 10 industry topics and led by 80 topic champions, with 180 minutes of solution-finding sessions spread out over two days. The last day will include a one-hour, action-driven discussion session where delegates will set new agendas to drive content and policies for the future.

Around 65 speakers which comprise some 25 female speakers, and more than 20 Asia Pacific speakers will be part of the programme. Two global awards and two competitions will be included in the programme, alongside six keynotes, 16 breakout sessions, two association sessions and five deep dive workshops. The event will offer 15 ICCASkills contact hours. With sustainability at the forefront of all activities, the event aims to be carbon neutral.
