Danang is fast emerging on the MICE destination radar in Asia-Pacific, with more airlines servicing the destination and new hotels in the region.

Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, will commence three times weekly flights to Danang from Singapore from 20 October, which will progressively increase to daily flights by December 2025.

There is a new route from Japan too, with Vietnam Airlines having recently resumed direct flights between Osaka and Danang earlier this month after a long hiatus. Flights operate four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays and add to an existing Vietnam Airlines flight from Tokyo to Danang which has been in operation since 2022.

Philippine Airlines has also recently launched direct flights from Manila Da Nang with the service starting at the beginning of July. The service is thrice weekly, departing Manila at 11:10am, with a planned increase to four weekly flights by November 2025. The airline said that the early morning departure from Manila ensures passengers can enjoy a full day in Danang, making the most of their trip from the moment they arrive.

Pullman Danang Beach Resort, located on My Khe Beach in the heart of Vietnam’s Danang City, unveiled its newly renovated grand ballroom and MICE facilities in January, following a multimillion-dollar renovation project. Fusion Resort and Villas Da Nang, which opened in July 2024, offers 242 suites and villas with ocean views and direct beach access, making it an ideal spot for high-end incentives or retreats.
